RWA Water Safety Workshops

RWA is hosting a series of free water safety workshops for local schools in the Rockaways in support of NOAA’s Rip Current Awareness Week. Please sign up now for these important workshops to keep our kids safe on the beaches this summer!

We are hosting these workshops during the month of June to raise awareness of the dangers of rip currents and water safety on the open waterfront. During the workshops we show a NOAA water safety video on rip currents and walk through the safety rules with the students. This is valuable lifesaving information that students K-12 should be well aware of.
